| State Emergency Services Headquarters
The SES Headquarters building is a special use building housing the State emergency Services Victorian headquarters and operations and the SES central area command and operations.
The building houses office areas, meeting rooms and special operations and command rooms.
The building has been designed with
an emphasis on low energy environmentally sustainable design. Waterman
AHW has won Victorian and Australian Engineering Awards for the
environmental design. This design includes natural ventilation,
hybrid air-conditioning, thermal mass energy storage, day lighting
and low energy lighting.
